Staying Safe on the Course During Hot Weather

golf de massane

Summer is the perfect time to enjoy a round of golf, but high temperatures call for a few extra precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. At Golf de Massane, your comfort and wellbeing remain our top priority.

Even when no official heatwave alert is in place, playing golf in hot weather requires a little extra care.

We recommend that you:

  • Stay well hydrated before, during and after your round.
  • Wear a cap or wide-brimmed hat and apply a high-factor sunscreen.
  • Choose an early morning tee time, when temperatures are cooler, or take advantage of our late-day offers for a more comfortable round.
  • Pace yourself and reduce physical exertion whenever necessary.
  • Watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion, such as unusual fatigue, headaches, nausea or dizziness. If you begin to feel unwell, stop playing immediately and seek shade.
  • Take extra care of those who are more vulnerable to high temperatures, including children, older adults and anyone with underlying health conditions.

At Golf de Massane, we are committed to providing the best possible golfing experience, even during the hottest days of the season.

Our team is here to support you throughout the summer and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
