Sustainable initiatives
.
The eco-responsible management of the Massane Golf Club is reflected in the implementation of concrete measures such as the installation of a watering system focused on the playing areas, and the planting of grass that requires less water.
In keeping with its values of sustainability and respect for the environment, Horizon Resort Massane favours local, plant-based cuisine.
To support this eco-responsible vision, a living soil vegetable garden has been created on the Domaine to cultivate aromatics and vegetables. This initiative goes hand-in-hand with an on-site bio-waste recycling system.
The desire to limit the resort's environmental footprint can be seen right down to the choice of products used in the treatments offered at its Zéphyr Spa. The shared values between French cosmetic brand Thalgo and Horizon Resort Massane are further proof of our commitment to the environment.
The Massane Horizon complex has been awarded the Green Key label, the leading international distinction in sustainable tourism. This recognition highlights our daily commitment to limiting our environmental impact and promoting more responsible hospitality.
At the heart of our approach:
Enhanced waste sorting and reduction
Local sourcing and responsible purchasing
Optimised energy and water management
Sustainable transport for our guests and employees
Awareness-raising and active participation of our teams
This label marks an essential step in our desire to make every stay a greener, more human and sustainable experience.
